Islamabad, meeting with the Ambassador of Ireland

On August 21, 2024, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad H.E. Mr. Atadjan Movlamov received a courtesy call by the Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mrs. Mary O’Neill.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland said that as the first Ambassador of her country, she has recently presented her Credentials to the President of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Asif Ali Zardari.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan welcomed Ambassador Mary O’Neill to Islamabad and felicitated her on her appointment.

Both sides took this opportunity to discuss the political and economic situation in the region.

Turkmen Ambassador briefed Mrs. Mary O’Neill about the important regional energy projects. The Ambassador of Ireland, for her part, highly appreciated the initiatives of Turkmenistan's leadership on the implementation of projects, which would make a significant contribution to the economic development and prosperity in the region.
