Turkmen Ambassador calls on Federal Minister for Petroleum of Pakistan

On November 21 2024, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan H.E. A.Movlamov met with Federal Minister for Petroleum Dr. Musadiq Malik in Islamabad.

During the meeting the parties discussed the existing prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.

In addition, current issues of the flagship Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project were touched upon. The Turkmen side expressed gratitude to the leadership and government of Pakistan for their efforts in the speedy implementation of the TAPI project.

In turn, Dr. M.Malik confirmed the commitment of Government of Pakistan to TAPI project and its readiness to take all steps for early implementation of the project.

At the end of the meeting, both sides once again confirmed their willingness to continue and further expand cooperation in various areas.
