Embassy of Turkmenistan took part in a round table in Islamabad on regional cooperation
On August 29, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan took part in a round table organized by the think tank "The Center of Pakistan and International Relations" (COPAIR) on the topic: "Central Asia & Pakistan connectivity: efforts & prospects".
During the event, special attention was paid to key strategic infrastructure projects uniting the countries of Central and South Asia, including TAPI, TAP, CASA-1000, Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan Railway projects, and others. The parties also discussed prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation, developing transit and transportation links, as well as interaction in the energy sector. The relevance of the above-mentioned projects for strengthening regional connectivity, ensuring energy and transport security, diversifying supply routes, and stimulating sustainable economic growth was emphasized. The implementation of these initiatives is considered an important factor in the stability, prosperity, and integration of Central and South Asian countries into global trade and logistics chains.
Following the roundtable, the parties confirmed their readiness for further interaction in order to deepen bilateral and multilateral ties.
