The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in the 4th Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian States

On October 29, 2026, the 4th Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian States, themed «Unity for the Sake of Peace, Security, and Prosperity in Central Asia», was held in the Dushanbe.

A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, D. Gulmanova, took part in the forum.

During the forum, participants exchanged views on pressing issues related to the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation, the strengthening of regional engagement, the ensuring of peace and stability and the expansion of constructive dialogue among the states of Central Asia.

Particular attention was paid to the role of inter-parliamentary ties in fostering the region’s sustainable development, strengthening good-neighborly relations, and advancing joint efforts aimed at ensuring peace, security, and prosperity in Central Asia.

The participation of a delegation from Turkmenistan in the forum reflects the country’s commitment to developing a constructive interstate dialogue, strengthening inter-parliamentary ties and further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with the countries of Central Asia.
