Meeting with Director General (ECO & CARs), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan

On 04 April 2024, Ambassador of Turkmenistan A.Movlamov had a courtesy call meeting with new appointed Director General (ECO & CARs), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Aizaz Khan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topics of mutual interest in bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan, and preparation for bilateral visits and joint events in 2024.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint major projects - the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline and Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP) power transmission. It was stressed that the TAPI and TAP projects will be beneficial for prosperity of the region and the economic growth of Pakistan.
