Meeting with Ambassador of Hungary in the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad

On September 16, 2025, Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov received at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, the new Hungarian Ambassador to Pakistan, Zoltán Varga.

During the meeting, the Turkmen diplomat warmly congratulated his colleague on the presentation of his credentials to the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, and wished him every success in his new position.

He also briefed his Hungarian counterpart on the activities of the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad, noting its important role in strengthening interactions with Pakistani government agencies, business communities, and cultural representatives. He emphasized the Diplomatic Corps' vital role in promoting economic and cultural initiatives and strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and the international community.

The sides expressed their readiness for constructive interaction within the diplomatic community of Islamabad and emphasized the importance of strengthening interregional contacts in order to promote stability, mutual understanding, and sustainable development in the region and beyond.
