On November 6, 2025, at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Pakistan, Mr. A. Movlamov held a meeting with the High Commissioner-designate of the Republic of Mauritius to Pakistan, Mr. Munsoo Kurrimbaccus.

During the meeting, the Ambassadors exchanged views on the situation in the region. In this context, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan outlined Turkmenistan’s peace-loving policy of Permanent Neutrality, which is aimed at fostering mutual trust, maintaining stability, and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation in the region. He highlighted the activities of the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, headquartered in Ashgabat, underlining its vital role in promoting dialogue, the peaceful settlement of disputes, and confidence-building among the countries of the region.

The two sides exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations, reaffirming their commitment to further enhance cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.

In conclusion, Ambassador A.Movlamov wished the High Commissioner-designate M.Kurrimbaccus success in his diplomatic mission to Pakistan, expressing confidence that the friendly relations and mutual understanding between Turkmenistan and Mauritius will continue to strengthen in the years ahead.
