Ambassador Turkmenistan meets the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan

On August 31, 2023, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atadjan Movlamov called on the Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador extended his warm congratulations to His Excellency Jalil Abbas Jilani on assuming the new portfolio as Caretaker Foreign Minister.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the state of bilateral relations. The Ambassador of Turkmenistan informed the Minister on the latest developments on implementing the joint energy projects.

The Minister appreciated Turkmenistan's foreign policy and state of bilateral relations and noted that joint projects, including the TAPI and TAP, are very important for Pakistan.

Both sides expressed willingness to further strengthen ties in various fields of mutual interest.
