Meeting with the top management of the Tabani Group at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad

On February 4, 2025, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad with the Chairman of the “Tabani Group” Humza Yaqub Tabani and the Executive Director of the company Hatim Yaqub Tabani.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the potential of trade relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan in various fields.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov spoke about the policy of the leadership of his country, including the implementation of the "Concept of activities and priorities of Turkmenistan within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust". In this context, it was reported that the main directions of the Concept were also discussed during a telephone conversation between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who fully supported it. At the same time, the importance of the Concept was noted against the backdrop of modern challenges in the international arena. The importance of implementing joint energy projects that will contribute to strengthening peace and security in the region and beyond was also noted.

The heads of the Tabani Group highly appreciated the foreign and domestic policies pursued by Turkmenistan and expressed a desire to play an active role in strengthening relations between the two countries, providing all possible assistance in developing and expanding trade and economic ties between our countries.
