Ways of expanding economic cooperation were discussed in the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad

On July 29, 2025, at the meeting with a Senior politician and Head of the Diplomatic Friendship Group of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Durrani, the Embassy of Turkmenistan made a presentation reflecting the foreign policy concept of Permanent Neutral Turkmenistan, as well as trade and economic opportunities, the country's investment potential, and favorable conditions for international partnership.

The Turkmen side, in particular, noted its interest in further strengthening cooperation and expanding trade and economic relations with Pakistan.

The parties considered possible steps to expand cooperation between the business communities of Turkmenistan and Pakistan. Among the proposals are holding joint exhibitions, exchange of business delegations, investment forums, and other formats for the development of economic ties.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in developing bilateral dialogue and strengthening a partnership based on mutual respect and common interests.
