Meeting with Pakistan's Federal Minister for Railways in Islamabad

On August 8, 2025, Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov, together with Ambassador of Kazakhstan E. Kistafin, met with the Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi.

At the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of topics related to both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, with an emphasis on the development of transport and logistics infrastructure.

The strategic importance of strengthening transport links between Central and South Asia was emphasized. The parties noted that the development of sustainable and efficient logistics routes will contribute not only to the growth of trade and economic cooperation, but also to strengthening regional stability, ensuring food and energy security, as well as attracting investment in infrastructure projects.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to maintain a constructive dialogue and continue interaction within the framework of the bilateral and multilateral agenda.
