Ambassadors of Central Asia and Azerbaijan visits the Ministry of Maritime Affairs of Pakistan

On September 16, 2025, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov, and Ambassadors of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan, visited the Ministry of Maritime Affairs of Pakistan. During the visit, the Ambassadors expressed their sincere condolences to Muhammad Junaid A. Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs of Pakistan, on the passing of his mother and conveyed words of support during this difficult time.

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on developing cooperation in maritime transport and port logistics on a bilateral and multilateral basis. It was emphasized that expanding cooperation in this area is crucial for strengthening regional connectivity and sustainable economic growth.

At the end of the meeting, mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation was confirmed and an agreement was reached to hold regular meetings to discuss ways to expand cooperation in transit and maritime transport between the countries of the region.
