Ambassadors of Turkmenistan and Denmark discuss regional developments in Islamabad

On November 10, 2025, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Denmark to Pakistan, Mrs. Maja Mortensen, visited the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, where she met with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, A. Movlamov.

During the meeting the sides discussed the current situation in the region, focusing on issues of peace, stability, and sustainable development.

The Turkmen Ambassador also shared about neutral Turkmenistan's peaceful foreign policy, which aims to strengthen trust between states, develop good-neighborly relations, and create favorable conditions for mutually beneficial cooperation. In this context, he emphasized the importance of Turkmenistan's ongoing regional energy and infrastructure initiatives, which contribute to strengthening connectivity and economic integration in the region.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador A. Movlamov wished Mrs. Maja Mortensen success in her diplomatic mission in Pakistan and expressed confidence that her activities will contribute to the further strengthening of mutual understanding and friendly ties between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Denmark.
