Pakistan’s National Assembly delegation visits Turkmenistan Embassy to boost parliamentary ties

On February 11, a delegation of the National Assembly of Pakistan, led by Member of the National Assembly and Convener of the Pakistan–Turkmenistan Parliamentary Friendship Group Sanjay Perwani, visited the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to further strengthening bilateral parliamentary cooperation between the brotherly countries. The guests were also briefed about the events planned in the country for the current year, which is being held under the slogan “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of purposeful heavenly horses.”

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in advancing parliamentary diplomacy and maintaining regular working contacts between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
