Energy dialogue between Turkmenistan and Pakistan strengthens regional ties

On February 24 in Islamabad, the development of joint projects in the fields of electricity, as well as measures to strengthen regional energy connectivity, were discussed during a meeting between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, A. Movlamov, and the Federal Minister of Energy (Power Division) of Pakistan, Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari.

The parties noted the importance of implementation of infrastructure projects and ensuring the stability of energy supplies between the two countries. They also discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation within regional initiatives aimed at enhancing energy security and promoting economic development.

Both sides emphasized their readiness to continue coordinating efforts and working jointly on the implementation of planned projects, reaffirming the high level of bilateral partnership between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
