Reception for Celebrating 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan

On 10 May, 2017 at “Sheeshmahal” Hall of Serene Hotel in Islamabad, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in collaboration with “Diplomatic focus” magazine hosted a reception for celebrating 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.

This reception was attended by H.E. Mr. Sartaj Aziz, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on foreign affairs, senior officers from the Ministry of foreign affairs of Pakistan, heads of diplomatic missions, representative offices of UN Agencies and other International Organization accredited to Pakistan and their diplomatic officers, participants from various think-tank communities of Pakistan and representatives of official media of Pakistan.

At the beginning of the event H.E. Mr. Atadjan Movlamov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Pakistan addressed to the distinguished guests with the key-notes, by mentioning that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan on May 10, 1992 both countries stepped into a qualitatively new stage in the long history of relationship based on friendship, good neighborliness and equal partnership and two brotherly countries have dynamically developed bilateral relations in various fields of cooperation, which holds great potential.

Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on foreign affairs, in turn, expressed his gratitude to be invited to this festive event on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Establishment of diplomatic relation between two friendly countries. Moreover he specially marked that, in recent years significant progress has been made in the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the various fields of International arena and increased the high-level exchanges between the two countries.

During the event were displayed the promo-videos dedicated to the latest achievements of both countries in various fields of development since their Independence declared.
