Prospects of Turkmen-Pakistani cooperation in the financial sector were discussed

On August 11, 2025, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan A. Movlamov met with the Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue of Pakistan, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of topics related to the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the financial and economic spheres. Emphasizing the friendly nature of Turkmen-Pakistani relations, the parties expressed mutual interest in further deepening the partnership aimed at implementing mutually beneficial projects and initiatives. Particular attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of the TAPI project, as well as expanding trade and economic ties, stimulating mutual investment and creating favorable conditions for business activity.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual commitment to the development of a fruitful partnership, expressing confidence that the implementation of joint initiatives will contribute to sustainable socio-economic growth and strengthening mutually beneficial ties between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
