The state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan has started

On November 16, 2025, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived on a state visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The President of Turkmenistan was warmly welcomed at Tashkent Airport by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The two heads of state held talks there.

After warmly welcoming the distinguished Turkmen guest and thanking him for accepting the invitation to visit Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the current visit of the head of Turkmenistan would contribute to the further strengthening of traditionally friendly interstate relations.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took the opportunity to convey warm greetings and best wishes to the Head of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag.

This was followed by an official meeting with the distinguished guest.
