As part of the visit, the Turkmen delegation also visited the central administration of the International Islamic University in Islamabad, Faisal Mosque, and Jamia Muhammadiyya, a madrasa-style educational institution operating independently of the state. The delegation learned about the historical, religious and social significance of the mosque and the madrasa, the organization of educational and character-building activities at the madrasa, and the teaching of Islamic jurisprudence.

The meetings placed particular emphasis on developing religious education, enhancing the professional qualifications of academic and teaching staff, and exchanging experience.

It was noted that the Turkmen delegation’s visit to Pakistan would pave the way for establishing and further developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan in the field of religious education.
