Turkmen–Pakistani Cooperation in Professional and Technical Education Discussed in Islamabad

On January 30, 2026, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. A. Movlamov, held a meeting with Ms. Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Chairperson of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) of Pakistan in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospective areas of bilateral cooperation, with particular attention to the exchange of best practices, the development of joint capacity-building programs between Turkmenistan and Pakistan, and the advancement of technical and vocational education.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue dialogue and information exchange, as well as to explore opportunities for implementing joint educational projects and programs, including initiatives aimed at developing the teaching and study of the Urdu language in Turkmenistan, which are of mutual interest.
