A Seminar on the topic "V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games and exploring opportunities in Turkmenistan"

On July 13, 2016 at the multipurpose complex "Islamabad Club" of the Pakistani capital, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in collaboration with the Pakistani magazine "The Diplomatic Insight" organized a seminar on the theme: "V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games and Exploring Opportunities in Turkmenistan", which was dedicated to the beginning of the 500-day countdown to V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which will be held in Ashgabat in 2017.

The seminar was attended by Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Mr. Mian Riaz Hussain, representatives of various sports federations and the Pakistan Sports Writers Federation, heads of diplomatic missions of the countries to be participating in the Asian Games-2017, scientists, sportsmen and representatives of public organizations and media.

The seminar was conducted in interactive form. In addition, during the workshop, participants were shown slides and video of the opening ceremony of the 500-day countdown to V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.

Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Pakistan A. Movlamov, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Mr. Mian Riaz Hussain, President of the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies of Pakistan Ms. Farhat Asif and President of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation Mr. Amjad Aziz Malik who expressed their points of view with respect to V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which will be held in Ashgabat in 2017. 

At the end of the seminar on behalf of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan all participants were offered the dishes of Turkmen national cuisine, presented in memory with special booklets and other publications telling about the Asian Games-2017.
