National Leader of the Turkmen People met with the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Çalyk Holding Group of Companies

On September 26, 2025, National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Çalık Holding Group of Companies, who arrived in the country to participate in celebrations dedicated to the 34th  anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the time devoted to the meeting, Ahmet Çalık noted that it is a great honor for him to be in Turkmenistan and warmly congratulated Hero Arkadag on Independence Day. The head of Çalık Holding also kindly asked the National Leader of the Turkmen People to convey his heartfelt congratulations to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on this significant occasion.

Noting that Turkmenistan has accomplished enormous work during the years of independence, Ahmet Çalık emphasized the country’s successes in all fields. This is clear evidence that the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen People are being consistently implemented under the leadership of the head of state.

Ahmet Çalık also expressed gratitude for the entrustment to his company of the construction of a urea production complex in the Turkmenbashi city of the Balkan Velayat.

Warmly welcoming the head of Çalık Holding, Hero-Arkadag emphasized that the friendly and fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye, established since the first years of independence, are successfully developing in a number of areas, including energy, textiles, construction, and other sectors. Çalık Holding is currently actively involved in the construction of a number of important industrial and social facilities. The Holding’s activities in the energy sector and healthcare system of Turkmenistan were also empasized.

Confidence was expressed that Çalık Holding will continue to participate in the implementation of important projects in Turkmenistan, applying new technologies and advanced equipment.

Expressing gratitude for the high level of trust, Ahmet Çalık reaffirmed his company’s commitment to the consistent and high-quality fulfillment of the contractual obligations.

At the end of the meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag wished the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Çalık Holding Group of Companies success in his work.
