A representative of Turkmenistan participated in the Margalla Dialogue 2025 in Islamabad

On November 11–12, 2025, Begench Karayev, Senior Lecturer at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, took part in the international conference “Margalla Dialogue 2025”, organized by the Islamabad Institute of Policy Studies (IPRI) in Pakistan.

In his address, Begench Karayev presented a comprehensive overview of the key dimensions of regional cooperation and Turkmenistan’s foreign policy priorities, underscoring the country’s unwavering commitment to the principles of positive neutrality and constructive international engagement. He elaborated on Turkmenistan’s growing role in enhancing regional economic, energy, and transport connectivity, highlighting the country’s position as a reliable partner and initiator of major international projects.

He also devoted particular attention to the dynamic development of Turkmen-Pakistani cooperation, stressing its strategic significance. In this context, he outlined the progress made in advancing major initiatives such as TAPI, TAP, and other regional projects aimed at strengthening stability, boosting mutual trade, and expanding integration processes across the region.
