Ambassadors of Turkmenistan and Ethiopia meet in Islamabad to exchange views on enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation between two countries

On February 20, Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov received the Ambassador-designate of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Pakistan, Oumer Hussein Oba. During the meeting, Turkmen Ambassador congratulated his colleague on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic activities in Pakistan.

The sides noted a huge prospect for the development of Turkmen–Ethiopian relations, reaffirming their mutual interest in expanding political dialogue and strengthening trade and economic cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the current regional situation, including issues of transport and economic connectivity.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the further strengthening of friendly ties and continued coordination of efforts on the international stage.
