Meeting with Director General (ECO & CARs), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan

On 02 May 2023, at the MoFA, Ambassador of Turkmenistan A.Movlamov had a meeting with Director General (ECO & CARs), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Mahmood Akhtar Mahmood.

During the meeting parties discussed the topical matters on Turkmenistan-Pakistan relations.

Special attention was paid to the bilateral cooperation in energy sector, in particular, implementation of the joint large projects - the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP) power transmission line and fiber-optic communication line. It was emphasized that the completion of TAPI and TAP projects will contribute to economic growth of Pakistan.

The parties agreed to continue regular interactions to facilitate the organization of bilateral visits and joint events.
